Teak is a beautifully colored, naturally patterned hardwood that is strong enough to stand up to the rigors of most any weather. It is a very popular material for patio sets everywhere. If you want the best of the best, go for a teak set. Outdoor cushions for your teak furniture set should be stylish yet resistant to water and sunlight. Sometimes cushions come with a patio set, however sometimes they must be purchased separately.

You can purchase patio furniture at many stores. Large superstores like Wal-Mart and Target sell different styles of patio furniture. The majority you will find at stores like this will be aluminum, plastic and sometimes wood. You may have to go to a more upscale outdoor furniture store to find teak furniture. Along with your furniture consider accenting the area with a citronella candle, an outdoor cooking device like a smoker or grill, and an assortment of plants and flowers in decorative containers. Now you are ready to entertain friends and family when the weather is nice.
